Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb chicken breast cut into pieces
  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sriracha
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Prep the Chicken and Shrimp:

  • Marinate the chicken and shrimp in buttermilk for at least 10 minutes.

Prepare the Coating:

  • In a shallow dish, mix flour, panko, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

Coat the Chicken and Shrimp:

  • Dredge the marinated chicken pieces and shrimp in the flour mixture. Set aside.

Fry the Chicken and Shrimp:

  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the chicken pieces for about 3-4 minutes per side and shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.

Make the Bang Bang Sauce:

  • In a bowl, mix Thai sweet chili sauce, mayonnaise, sriracha, and rice vinegar until smooth.

Toss and Serve:

  • Toss the fried chicken and shrimp in the Bang Bang sauce until well-coated. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust the spice level by adding more or less sriracha to the sauce.
  • For a healthier alternative, you can bake the chicken and shrimp instead of frying.
